• Java or Gosu,

• Git, Jenkins, and similar,

• IntelliJ,

• SOAP, REST,

• Apex,

• Oracle, MSSQL, H2,

• and more depending on the projectYour responsibilities, Implement and customize core insurance systems such as Guidewire, Salesforce, TIA or INSIS. , Develop our own systems as a part of the internal R&D team. , Support the Team by sharing your knowledge. , An authority figure for more junior team members. , Design IT solutions and prepare documentation. , Create unit tests. , Work directly with our clients as an active member of an agile project team. At least 4 years of commercial experience as a software developer, preferably in Java. , Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, clean code principles, and best practices. , Experience om creating and enforcing coding standards. , Experience in working with more junior colleagues and guiding them (Team Leader experience will be a big advantage). , Solid understanding of software engineering concepts. , Good command of English language, at least B2/C1 level. , Willingness to learn new technologies and working with them. , Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. , Any of the following: Web services (REST/SOAP), Microservices, JMS knowledge, Spring, or any similar hands-on experience. , “Can do” attitude. , Ability to work in the European Union. Optional, Fluency in French or German. , Guidewire experience and certificates. , Hands-on insurance domain experience. , Knowledge of systems integration. , Experience in consulting. , Eagerness to learn about new technologies and solutions. , Willingness to travel regularly.
