We're building a prayer and meditation app. One that is authentically Christian and Catholic, while at the same time a resource for anyone looking to grow deeper in a relationship with God. We believe that people are hungry for peace, and that there is no surer way to find it than by learning to sit in silence with Christ: “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest” (Mt 11:28).

We launched the app in December of 2018 and have been blown away with the incredible growth & traction. Hallow has been downloaded over 15 million times with over 250,000 5-star reviews. Tldr: We're looking for our next voice of Hallow in Italian who is excited to lead hundreds of thousands of Italian-speaking people to greater peace in God.
What You'll Do Work directly with the Content Team: You will work alongside the Content Team to record prayers in a professional voice-over studio (paid for and selected by Hallow) or at your home with an audio configuration set up by Hallow's audio engineers. You will first need to record a backlog of prayers and then be available to record new prayers as the Hallow content team writes them.
Audio Recording: You should be comfortable sitting for extended periods to capture audio. You also should enjoy praying out loud and be open to feedback on tone, speed, etc.
Audio QA: You will work with the Content Team to become familiar with the sessions' tone, pace, and outline. After Hallow’s audio engineers have edited the audio, you will be one of the final sets of ears before sessions go on the app, to catch any audio mistakes or rework any timing to make the sessions prayerful and beautiful.
What We're Looking For Language: You are a native Italian speaker.
Experiences: You have experience doing voice-over projects and can project a calming, clear voice in guided prayer and meditation. Ideally, you have experience with and an appreciation for the Catholic faith (bonus points if you have studied Catholic theology).
Grit & detail-oriented : You have a high attention to detail and are willing to listen through sessions prayerfully.
Passion: You're excited about the mission of bringing prayer and meditation to every smartphone in all Italian-speaking countries!

Flexibility: This is a remote position.We expect this work to consist of approximately 2 (two) to 4 (four) hours per week.
